      Psoriasis is a kind of refractory disease, though it is less serious than cancer. The etiology is not clear, the morbidity is high, and it cannot be radically cured. It is an urgent problem that needs to be solved. Since 1980, the authors have studied the pathogenic mechanisms of psoriasis from aspects of pathology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and immunology. It was proved that abnormalities in biochemical components, neural media, immunological state and cell metabolism existed in psoriatic cases. We have published more than ten articles, and formulated two anti-psoriasis drugs, which is reported as follows:  1. The levels of serum zinc, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, selenium, ceruloplasmin, vitamin A and vitamin E in 138 psoriatic patients were measured by atomic absorption spectrometry. The results showed that serum copper level in the progressive and stable stage was decreased significantly (P<0.01). The levels of serum calcium and vitamin E lowered too. The levels of serum ceruloplasmin, selenium and iron were considerably higher in psoriatic than those in the normal control. This is an evidence that there are biochemical abnormalities in the internal environment of psoriatic patients.

  • Ⅱ型糖尿病患者维生素C、E营养状况及红细胞SOD活性的相关性

    对象和方法为了解非胰岛素依赖型糖尿病(Ⅱ型糖尿病,NIDDM)患者VitC、E的摄入及营养状况,进一步观察血浆VitC、E含量及其与SOD的关系,对37例住院NIDDM患者的膳食及血浆VitC、E营养状况进行调查,并对其血浆VitC、E含量及红细胞SOD活性进行相关分析.1.对象:按1985年WHO诊断标准确诊的37例NIDDM住院病人(男16例,女21例),年龄25~74(54.61±2.31)岁,病程1个月~18年,无急性代谢紊乱、严重感染、肝肾疾病和其他内分泌代谢疾病.所有受检者近一个月内未使用VitC、VitE及影响其代谢的药物.

    维生素E.C复合剂(维体康颗粒剂)属维生素类药.有延缓衰老作用,对由于缺乏维生素E.C引起的毛细血管出血、牙龈出血、皮肤色素沉淀、冻疮、手足麻等症有一定疗效.原标准(甘卫药发[1994]第195号文)中规定用滴定法测定维生素C的含量,该法操作繁琐,影响因素较多.本文通过试验,建立了HPLC法测定该制剂中维生素C的含量.

    维生素E烟酸酯(Tocopheryl Nicotinate, Vitamin E Nicotinate)是由两种人体所必需的重要维生素--维生素E和烟酸缩合而成的酯类化合物[1],是一种新型微循环活化剂,进入体内在酯酶的作用下水解释放出维生素E和烟酸,较单独的维生素E性质稳定,较单独的烟酸副作用小.

    Aim: To examine the impact and prognostic significance of α-tocopherol associated protein (TAP) expression in a series of prostate cancer patients. Methods: Tissues from 87 patients underwent radical prostatectomy were examined for TAP expression by immunohistochemistry. The relationships of the staining results, the clinic pathological characteristics and the recurrence times were analyzed. Results: Compared with the adjacent areas of normal and benign glands,immunoreactivity of TAP was reduced in areas of prostate cancer. A lower TAP-positive cell number per mm2 of the largest cancer area (defined as TAP-PN) was associated with higher clinical stage (r = -0.248, P = 0.0322). Inverse associations were found among the TAP-PN and positive lymph nodes (r = -0.231, P = 0.0325), preoperative prostatespecific antigen (PSA) levels (r =-0.423, P = 0.0043), tumor size (r =-0.315, P = 0.0210) and elevated tumor cell proliferation, which was indicated by the staining of Ki-67 (r = -0.308, P = 0.0026). TAP-PN was a significant predictorof recurrence univariately (P = 0.0006), as well as multivariately, adjusted for known markers including preoperative PSA, clinical stage, Gleason score, surgical margin, extra-prostatic extension, seminal vesicle invasion and lymph node metastasis (P = 0.0012). Conclusion: Reduced expression of TAP was associated with the cell proliferation status of prostate cancer, adverse pathological parameters and the increased risk of recurrence.

  • 维生素E对二甲磺酸乙烷在大鼠体内的睾丸毒性的防护作用

    Aim:To evaluate the protective/ameliorative effects of vitamin E (vit E) on ethane dimethane sulfonate (EDS)-induced testicular toxicity in rats. Methods: The rats were assigned to eight groups, seven rats in each, and were injected intraperitoneally with vehicle, a single dose of ethane dimethane sulfonate (EDS) (75 mg/kg bodyweight), vit E (100 mg/kg bodyweight) or EDS + vit E for 3-7 days. Thereafter, the rats were weighed, anaesthetized with ether and killed by cervical dislocation. The left testis weights were recorded and the relative testis weights were calculated.The left testes were processed for routine paraffin embedding. Three right testes from each group were taken randomly and then processed for routine electron microscopy. Tissue sections were examined using light and electron microscopy, and were scored for histopathological changes. Results: Vit E coadministration did not prevent the bodyweight loss on days 3 and 7. However, vit E administration prevented the EDS-induced testicular-weight loss in rats that received vit E for 3 days but not 7 days. The relative testis weight was higher on day 3 (instead of on day 7) than other groups. Nevertheless, the testis histology was not markedly protected by vit E in the EDS-treated rats.Detailed microscopic assessment showed few Leydig cells and abundant fibroblast-like cells indicating only some protection. Conclusion: Vit E cotreatment showed partial protective effects on the testicular weight and testicular histology in rats that received EDS.

    Objective:The present study was designed to test the hypothesis that inflammation is involved in the end-organ damage(EOD) induced by sinoaortic denervation(SAD) in rats.Method:SAD was performed in male Sprague-Dawley rats at the age of 10 weeks.Under anaesthesia,aortic nerves were cut and the sinus region of the carotid artery was stripped and painted with 10% phenol.Pathological evaluation of EOD and the determination of plasma or tissue levels of the factors related to inflammation,including thromboxane B2(TXB2) interleukin-1(IL-1),tumour necrosis factor α(TNF-α) and reactive oxygen species(ROS) were performed at 16 weeks after SAD.Pathological evaluation of EOD included heart weigh ratio,myocardial and blood vessel hydroxyproline and collagen volume fraction,glomerular injury score and number of infiltrating inflammatory cells.Indomethacin(20 mg/kg per day,orally) or vitamin E(100 mg/kg per day,orally) was administered for 12 weeks,beginning from4 weeks after SAD,to observe their effects on SAD-induced EOD.Results:There were significant fibrosis and inflammatory infiltration in the myocardium and blood vessels,represented by higher hydroxyproline and collagen volume fraction,and a large amount of inflammatory cells in the tissues of SAD rats.Heart weight and kidney glomerular injury score were significantly higher in ed significantly after SAD.Indomethacin and vitamin E significantly decreased the contents of some factors related to inflammation in SAD rats.Both drugs also alleviated myocardial and vessel fibrosis,inflammatory infiltration and kidney damage.Conclusion:Inflammation is involved in the organ damage induced by SAD in rats.

  • 对称性肢端角化病九例分析

    目的 探讨9例对称性肢端角化病患者的相关危险因素、临床表现、治疗及疗效.方法 门诊收集9例对称性肢端角化病患者的临床资料.对皮损进行拍照,真菌镜检、组织病理检查.予外用药治疗并随访.结果 男8例,女1例,平均年龄28.2岁,平均发病年龄24.6岁,病程2个月至16年;皮损对称分布,双手背、腕全部累及,踝次之;手腕部皮损分布呈圈状;夏季重、冬秋季多数自愈;大部分患者与塑胶或橡胶接触有关,部分合并寻常性鱼鳞病;真菌镜检均阴性,组织病理学表现为表皮角化过度,棘层肥厚,轻微乳头瘤样增生;尿素维E乳膏、丙酸氯倍他索乳膏按1∶1调用明显有效.结论 寻常性鱼鳞病患者存在对称性肢端角化病的易患因素,遇水变白可能是水、空气参与的一种物理现象.外用糖皮质激素可作为第一线药物选择.

    患者男,48岁,无药物过敏史.曾患脑出血,出院后医生嘱长期服用维生素E胶丸以软化脑血管防止再次出血.患者遵从医嘱,于2010年5月20日开始每天服用维生素E胶丸(生产厂家:浙江医药股份有限公司新昌制药厂,批号:091012),100.00 mg/次,2次/日,口服.连续服用三个月时,开始出现眼睛干涩不适症状.

  • 纳米化对维生素E抗氧化作用的影响

    为探讨纳米化对vitamin E抗氧化作用的影响,检测了纳米化vitamin E对抑制超氧阴离子自由基产生的能力、总抗氧化能力以及对4℃贮存红细胞SOD活性的影响.结果表明,与乳化vitamin E相比,纳米化vitamin E能显著提高vitamin E总抗氧化能力和保护4℃贮存红细胞SOD活性的能力(P<0.001);在抑制超氧阴离子自由基的产生方面,乳化vitamin E在低质量浓度(<640μg/L)时,能抑制超氧阴离子自由基的产生,而在高质量浓度(>1 280 μg/L)时,则助超氧阴离子自由基的产生;而纳米vitamin E表现为其抗超氧阴离子自由基的能力随其剂量的增加而增强,提示纳米vitamin E在生物学效应方面已发生了某种变化,对纳米化vitamin E的生物学效应还需进一步研究.

  • 维他命E与抗衰老的关系

    This article discusses the role of vitamin E in prventing aging. All the primary articles concemed are reviewed and the results are as follows. Moderate amount of dietary vitamin E supplement is positively related to the prevention of age-associated diseases. But vitamin E exerts no effect on maximum longevity. Overdose or long-term external supplement is of no use in preventing age-associated processes otherwise may cause toxicity. Through this review it is, in this article, suggested that sufficient dietary intake of vitamin E especially among the old should be encouraged to reduce the risk of age-associated diseases. But supplement of large amount of external vitamin E should be under the supervision of physician because of its possible toxicity.

  • Vitamin E治疗认知功能轻度障碍临床疗效评价

    目的 观察Vitamin E治疗认知功能轻度障碍的临床疗效.方法 35例认知功能轻度障碍患者随机分为两组,治疗组用Vitamin E联合盐酸多奈哌齐治疗(18例),对照组单用盐酸多奈哌齐治疗(17例).采用简易精神状况检查量表评分评估临床疗效.随访时间为2年.结果 34例患者完成临床随访,简易精神状况检查量表评分治疗组治疗前27.1 ±2.9分,治疗后评分29±1.6分,治疗前后比较差异有统计学意义(p<0.05);对照组治疗前评分26.9±3分,治疗后评分27.8±2.5分,治疗前后差异有统计学意义(p<0.05).治疗组和对照组治疗后评分比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05).治疗组有效率为77.8%,对照组有效率44.1%,两组差异有统计学意义(x2=4.88,p=0.027).两组均为严重不良反应发生.结论 生素E联合盐酸多奈哌齐治疗轻度认识功能障碍疗效优于单用盐酸多奈哌齐,安全性好.
