    To explore the effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction (BHD) on platelet activating factor (PAF) content in arterial blood pre- and post-arterial thrombosis in rats, male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups, the medicine group treated with BHD, the control group with dexamethasone liquid, and the blank group with distilled water. Oral administration was given for 14 consecutive days, once daily. Model of arterial thrombosis was established in the animals 2 hours after final medication, the blood content of PAF, dry weight (DW) and occlusion time (OT) of thrombus, and dry weight of thrombus/body weight (TW/BW) ratio were observed. Results indicated that BHD could markedly lower the arterial blood content of PAF after thrombosis, increase the OT of thrombus, reduce the dry weight of thrombus and the TW/BW ratio (P<0.05). It is suggested that BHD can inhibit the pathologic PAF metabolism and formation and development of arterial thrombus.

    有研究表明,温热具有抗肿瘤的作用[1].对恶性胸腔积液进行热灌注治疗,可以利用水的流动性和良好的热载体特性,使温热与胸膜进行充分、均匀地接触,全面地杀伤胸膜转移癌细胞.蒸馏水无渗透压,可使癌细胞处于低渗状态,直接破坏其细胞膜,直至死亡.亦有报道表明,热疗可提高肿瘤病人的免疫力[2].我科经胸腔内热灌注治疗恶性胸腔积液,病人生活质量明显改善,不良反应发生率也较低,现介绍如下.

  • ZMW型环氧乙烷灭菌箱对异体骨材料灭菌效果的初步观察

    Background: The foreign bone material of the same species was widely applied, while for the multiple manipulating processes, it got lots of chances to be infected, especially for the bone manufacturing, the pollution odds increased greatly, so the sterilizing process was most important. Objective: To observe the sterilizing effects of ZMW anprolene case on foreign bone materials to find a safe and economic disinfecting way. Unit:First attached hospital of the Shihezi medical university. Subject:The manipulating method of the foreign bone material of the same species: In clean environment., bone was got in 2 hours after death of the donor, soft tissue was removed and it was made to foreign bone material of 0.5 cm× 0.5 cm× 2 cm, it was washed with water and marinated till the water got clear, then washed with distilled water repeatedly, lipid was removed with 1:1 chloroform and methanol for 4 hours at room temperature, calcium was removed with 0.6 mol/L HCL for 4 hours at 4 ℃ , it was washed with distilled water till the pH was 6.5. The bone material after treating were divided into two groups, one was dried in common air dried to make wet one plantation material and the other one was dried in 37℃ roasting case to make dry bone plantation material. They were both put in double polyethylene bags and sealed with standard sealing machine, the weight was 5 g,

  • 四川地区儿童臀肌挛缩症调查报告

    1987年10月至1988年4月,作者在13630位3~12岁儿童的流行病学调查中,检出注射性臀肌挛缩症患者137例.在5688以生理盐水或注射用水稀释的青霉素作臀肌注射的儿童中检出患者2例;而7942例以苯甲醇稀释的青霉素作注射的儿童中检出患者135例.前者患病率为0.035%,后者为1.7%,两者相差48倍以上,此结果不仅验证了注射因素确系臀肌挛缩的病因,还发现苯甲醇青霉素溶液是重要的致病因子.且其浓度愈高,针数愈多,致病力亦愈强.如今后放弃使用苯甲醇,尤其是2%的苯甲醇作青霉素溶媒可望大幅度降低发病率.

  • 儿童臀肌挛缩症的诊治及病因学研究

    本文报告该院治疗80例儿童臀肌挛缩症的临床资料、流行病学调查及儿童常用肌注药物的实验结果.认为我国儿童臀肌挛缩症的主要致病因素是婴儿期反复在臀肌注射苯甲醇青霉素.本病非手术治疗无效,臀肌松解术效果满意,应尽早手术.作者建议停止使用苯甲醇作为青霉素溶媒;并提出本病的诊断标准.

    AIM: Ulinastatin has been reported to be beneficial for maintenance of steroid-refractory inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), but the mechanism underlying remains uncertain. Leukocyte recruitment to inflammatory site plays an important role in the pathogenesis of IBD, analysis of leukocyte and endothelium interaction may provide new avenues for treatment of IBD. In this study, we evaluated the efficacy of Ulinastatin in dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) induced colitis rat model using intravital video microscopy. METHODS: Rats were given drinking water containing 3.5% (W/V) DSS for 10 days then 1% for 14 days. DSS induced colitis rats were treated Ulinastatin 3 000 unit*kg-1*d-1 via intraperitoneum during 1% DSS feeding. Controls received distilled water for 24 days. Body weight was determined for all groups. Colitis severity was assessed using histological scoring systems by H&E sections. Intravital microscopic techniques were used to quantitate leukocyte adhesion (LA), leukocyte emigration (LE) and venular protein leakage (VPL) in rat mesentery. RESULTS: DSS induced loss of body weight, whereas Ulinastatin-treated rat showed a significant increase in body weight. Histological analysis revealed improvement of colitis such as leukocyte infiltration, loss of goblet cells, transmural edema. DSS intake elicited increase in LA, LE, and VPL compared to control group. Ulinstatin significantly reversed the increase in LA, LE, and VPL induced by DSS. CONCLUSION: Administration of Ulinastatin effectively ameliorates experimental colitis by interfering with leukocyte recruitment, and may become a potential candidate for control of inflammation of IBD.

    AIM:There is little evidence proving the molecular mechanism of WenxinKeli ( WXKL) .This study tried to explore the gene ex-pression profile and pathology alteration of WXKL-treated rabbits with myocardial infarction .METHOD: Twenty male adult rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups:sham, model, WXKL and captopril groups .Model, WXKL and captopril groups underwent the ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery , while sham group went through an identical procedure without ligation .WXKL (817 mg? kg-1? d-1), captopril (8 mg? kg -1? d-1) and distilled water (model and sham) were administered orally to the rabbits. 4 weeks later, hearts were taken out for expression chip and pathological staining (HE, Masson and TUNEL) after echocardiography. RESULT:WXKL could down-regulate genes associated with inflammation (CX3CR1, MRC1, and FPR1), apoptosis (cathepsin C and TTC5) and neuro-hormonal system (ACE and EDN1), and up-regulate angiogenesis promoting gene like RSPO 3, which explained why WXKL group represented with better cardiac function , less histopathological injury and slighter apoptosis .CONCLUSION:WXKL plays an important role in suppressing inflammation , inhibiting renin-angiotensin system and alleviating apoptosis , and might be a promising Chinese medicine in treating patients with myocardial infarction .
