Objective:In order to obtain the data for diet and physical exercise, we analyzed the rules and characteristics of somatotype distribution of college students in Cangzhou by Heath-carter method. Methods:332 college students (172 males and 160 females) of Han nationality aged 19 to 24 were somatotyped by Health-carter anthropometry. Every index was measured 3 times and average values were adopted, and compared to that of other regions. Results:①The mean somatotype for female was 4. 3-3. 6-2. 9. The values of HWR, SAM, BMI and the rate of body fat were 42. 9, 2. 0, 20. 6 and 19. 7%, respectively. The mean somatotype for male was 3. 8-4. 3-3. 3. The values of HWR, SAM, BMI and the rate of body fat were 43. 5, 2. 4, 21. 5 and 17. 7%, respectively. The significant sexual difference was found in somatotype of Han nationality college students (P<0. 01). ②The weight, height, perimeter of the upper arm, calf girth, biepicondylar breadth of the humerus and biepicondylar breadth of the femur of male samples were greater than the female samples, the skinfold of the male samples were thinner than the male samples ( P<0 . 05 ) . ③The somatotypes of Han nationality in Changzhou were closer to the Han nationali-ty in Shandong province, but the gap was larger with Manchu and Mongolian nationality. ④Compared with foreign female college students, except Czechoslovakia and Canada, the somatotypes of Han nationality in Changzhou were similar to other countries. Conclusions:①The characteristics of male showed less body fat, stronger skeletal mus-cles, while that of female showed more body fat. ②Compared with other groups, it showed that somatotypes may be related to innate genetic, geographical climate, lifestyle, eating habits and other factors.

Objective:To investigate somatotype feature of soldier in mobile troops and to store up data in figure databank of China armed forces. Methods:The somatotype of 418 men soldier in mobile troops was evalua-ted with Heath-Carter method. Results:①The somatotype mean of soldier in mobile troops was 2. 4(0. 7)-4. 9 (2. 9) -2. 5(0. 9),SAM was 1. 6(0. 6). The somatotype type was balanced middle embryonic type, and 81. 3﹪was middle embryonic type in somatotype type. ②Compared to somatotype mean of students in common institution of higher learning, somatotype type [3. 8(1. 6) - 4. 3(1. 9) - 3. 5(2. 2)], factor Ⅱ was higher, and factor Ⅰand factorⅢwere lower. Compared to control group, somatotype type of soldier in mobile troops was higher for 45. 3﹪. ③Compared to soldier Belgian and Turkey, distance of somatotype point was near, and compared to soldier of Western--style dessert military academy in American and Royal military affairs college in England factorⅢwere lower. Conclusions:The somatotype characteristic of men soldier in mobile troops is skeletal muscle to become de-veloped, body to become muscular, somatotype type to concentrate main middle embryonic type.

Objective To identify the constitutional and anatomical peculiarities of constitution of women of mature age.Methods There was completed comprehensive anthropometric and bio-electrical survey of 651 mature women ( relative norm) living in the Moscow region .Results The quantitative distribution of women by somatotypological affiliation was revealed;anthropometric and body component composition in representatives of different somatotypes were defined .Conclusion Thus, the performed study revealed and quantiely character-ised the distribution of women according to their constitutional types in the studied population of mature age women living in Moscow region under the relative norm conditions .
