马 ACAN 侏儒症等位基因的杂合子身材下降。

Abstract:

: ACAN 等位基因 D1 、 D2 、 D3 * 和 D4 的纯合子和复合杂合子微型马表现出软骨发育不良侏儒症 (OMIA 001271-9796)。在以前的研究中，这四个等位基因的带菌率，结合，为 26.2%。本研究的目的是调查这些侏儒症引起的等位基因的携带者是否比非携带者有更短的马肩身高。总共对 245 匹微型马进行了这 4 个 ACAN 等位基因的检测，并测量了马肩身高。在这些马中，98 匹是带菌者，147 匹是非带菌者。在携带者较短的情况下观察到 1.43英寸的统计学显著差异 (P = 1.72E-11)。两组身高的范围重叠，表明包括基因在内的其他因素对威瑟斯身高有影响。然而，这些侏儒症引起的变异的高携带率可能是由于身高下降的选择。
